It’s Monday and I Have a Few Questions for You

Keeping First Things First and Giving You a Quick Update

It’s Monday. I usually have a post to help grow your faith ready and waiting in your inbox by now. But this last week had been a rather busy one.

I confess to being a little frustrated this morning, because I want to be consistent in getting my thoughts organized and out to you. I hear the questions you have and know I can help.

But one of the mantras I preach a lot is “first things first.”

This past week, I had the opportunity to do two things: begin the launch of a book and invest time with my family.

More on the first later, but I chose to hang out with my family at Disney World for a little bit instead of working more. Between that and travel, I didn’t get to finalize the series I am kicking off to help Christians figure out their core calling in life.

Questions for You

Rather than standing still, however, I thought I would ask you a couple questions about figuring out your own life direction. Some of you have made some progress in this area and learned some valuable lessons.

I’d like to invite you to share what you’ve learned with a comment here to help the rest of the FaithWalkers community. I plan to work those comments into the series of posts on the topic.

If you have found some degree of clarity about your life direction and calling, what tips and insights would you offer to others who are trying to find their way forward?

What mistakes would you warn others not to make?

If you are willing to tell the broader story of how you discovered your core calling, please feel free to email it to me at Bill(at)BillintheBlank.com.

Please leave a comment below with your answers to these questions, and I will add them to the series starting next Monday.

Oh, and you won’t want to miss tomorrow’s podcast episode, an interview with Jonathan D. Golden, founder of Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Company and author of a terrific new book on finding one’s life calling.

You can listen in here at FaithWalkers.com or subscribe via iTunes or Stitcher.

A Quick Update

Some of you have asked how the book launch is going after receiving an email from me earlier this week. I hope you won’t mind if I keep you updated and invite you to participate in the launch.

Authentic faith requires the freedom to live out an authentic life.

But that freedom is fading in America. My new book offers a way forward for Christians to experience a resurgence of faith — as individuals, families, communities, churches, and citizens.

This past week, we started getting intentional about spreading the word.

Thanks you to your response, the book climbed more than 34,000 spots in Amazon rankings to #237 overall— on pre-orders alone!

It made it to #1 in multiple categories, #3 in Church and State, and #13 in  politics!

On Thursday, it was the #1 New Release at Amazon. But there is much more to be done.

Again, thanks to our awesome launch team and your pre-ordering the book and spreading the word.

We prepared a free Pre-Order Bonus Package that will only be available until the book launches, and then it goes away.

So don’t wait to pre-order now from your favorite vendor. I wouldn’t want you to miss all the resources we’ve prepared for all who pre-order.

And don’t forget to leave your comments to help others if you have found some level clarity in your life calling.
