Show Notes

A few resources I mentioned in the show:

A Story Worth Telling_cov_Versa.inddMy latest book, of course, which shares more of my faith story and the stories of many others. If you need a dose of faith inspiration along with practical tips for growing your faith, grab a copy here.

51dZ1SAZMBL._SX321_BO1,204,203,200_Another book that I don’t mention but highly recommended as it influenced me greatly: If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat by John Ortberg.

If you want to do a deep dive into the subject of faith, I suggest another classic you’ve probably never heard of is What Is Faith? by J. Gresham Machen.

Bill, glad to see the podcast! Looking forward to listening in! I was just asking the Lord this morning for more good Christian podcast resources. Thanks for being an answer to prayer!!

Hey Bill, Kyle again. Just listened to the podcast, ironically, “on the treadmill.” I’m sweatin’ like a pig but just need to jump on and say, great job. The church in America needs to hear what you have to say. If anybody’s reading this and hasn’t worked through A Story Worth Telling, get the book, read it, share it, and pass on the link to this podcast. We’ve got to learn to walk by faith.

Thanks, Bill, for your passion and focus. Faith is perhaps the key lesson for the USA today. Keep hammering away….

    • Thanks, Kyle! I could not agree more. Our faith is about to be tested so living an authentic life is going to get more challenging.

Hey Bill, I just listened to the podcast. It was fantastic and I look forward to more each week. I am ready to walk out on the trail for God’s Glory. I picked up your book at the Family Christian Store up in cold Ohio. I used to work with you as I mentioned in an email I sent. I look forward to living a more authentic life and having a story worth telling. I will keep on keeping on despite my struggles and live for God’s glory. Thanks for being you and always being someone I looked up too. I was a young adult and full of bad decisions. I don’t know if I ever got to tell you that I always looked up to you and Faith at Target. So thank you. I am a good friend of Matt and Faith it’s interesting how lives link together years later. The true awesomeness of God’s glory. So again thank you. I have subscribed. – Daniel Braford (Former Target Employee)
