Links to Resources
I mention a few key resources in the above videos. Here are links to some of them:
- In, But Not Of Revised and Updated: A Guide to Christian Ambition and the Desire to Influence the World by Hugh Hewitt. A must-read for anyone serious about pursuing influence to sue for God’s Kingdom — but especially for Christians between the ages of 17-35.
- The Happiest Life: Seven Gifts, Seven Givers, and the Secret to Genuine Success bu Hugh Hewitt. Hugh reveals the keys to true happiness — they are not the ones you hear about most often.
- First Things First by Stephen R. Covey. Terrific resources for working out your life mission statement. Although not written from a distinctly Christian perspective, Covey’s approach is consistent with Biblical wisdom and proved highly helpful in getting clarity on my own faith journey.
- Total Truth (Study Guide Edition): Liberating Christianity from Its Cultural Captivity by Nancy Pearcey. Stretch your mind and understanding of the far-reaching implications of the gospel of jesus Christ. It is far more than a conversion experience or single event. It affects all of culture.
- Finding Truth: 5 Principles for Unmasking Atheism, Secularism, and Other God Substitutes by Nancy Pearcey. Another outstanding and practical tool to understand how to apply truth to other faiths, even those that do not claim to be religions.
- Just Do Something: A Liberating Approach to Finding God’s Will by Kevin DeYoung is a superb yet simple book to set you free from the fear of getting it wrong when trying to pursue God’s will.
- The Art of Work: A Proven Path to Discovering What You Were Meant to Do by Jeff Goins is just what it claims to be from another FaithWalker who stepped out to answer God’s call.
- Leaving Egypt: Finding God in the Wilderness Places by Chuck DeGroat is a wonderful read about how God uses seasons in the deserts of life to draw us closer to Himself.
